Who can attend the event?

Any persons 21+ may attend this event. Must be 21 on/by September 25th, 2025. Identification must be provided and match the name on your ticket. Anyone under the age of 21 will not be permitted. *PLEASE NOTE ANYONE 18+ MAY PURCHASE A BOOKS TICKET.

When do tickets for chapter 4 go on sale?

Can I purchase a ticket for the ball only?

How can I purchase tickets?

The Eventbrite link will be emailed prior to ticket sales so make sure you are signed up for our newsletter. If you did not receive an email, the link will also be posted to our website and in our facebook group, however tickets will NOT be Live until 5pm PDT/8pm EDT on Monday, August 12th. *THOUGH OUR EVENT IS SET UP THROUGH EVENTBRITE, YOU WILL BE DIRECTED TO PAYPAL TO PURCHASE SO BE SURE TO HAVE YOUR INFORMATION STORED FOR A QUICK CHECK OUT. BE SURE TO DISABLE AD-POPUP BLOCKER ON YOUR DEVICE OR YOU MAY HAVE DIFFICULTY AT CHECKOUT. Tickets will not be sold at the door. You do NOT need a PayPal account to purchase a ticket, but it does make the transaction go smoother.

can I do a payment plan for tickets?

Are tickets refundable?

Tickets for this event are nonrefundable; however, they are transferable up to 72 hours before the event. If you are no longer able to attend this event, please visit our facebook group where there is a post to resell your ticket: FACEBOOK GROUP
If you have any issues regarding your ticket (I.e. a duplicate purchase) please reach out to us via email so we can address the issue. *This event is nonrefundable and any chargebacks filed will result in your inability to attend any future BGC events.

Where is chapter 4 taking place?

Books Gowns & Crowns: Chapter 4 will be taking place in Washington D.C. at the Omni Shoreham
*NOTE: Room block will not be available until sometime AFTER ticket sales. Room block info will be sent out via email to ticket holders the week following ticket sales. Room blocks are in limited qualities.

How much are the rooms?

will I have to book all 3 nights?

No. You are not required to book all 3 nights in order to utilize the room block pricing.

What attire is required at the Ball?

Chapter 4's theme is : "We're All Mad Here": An Alice in Wonderland inspired event! Our ball is a black tie affair so we encourage you to don your gowns and crowns and dress your finest. We also welcome all Cosplay! We want YOU to be the main character tonight so dress to impress!

Is the author/vendor/NARRATOR/influencer list set?

Nope! We will continue adding to our list until shortly after we close applications in late Oct/ early Nov. Throughout the year, we may also add names to fill in gaps as needed, so expect the lists to evolve.

Is everyone listed guaranteed to be there?

The list of those participating in BGC4 is subject to change. Though we'd love to say everyone will make it there, life happens and things come up. Sometimes our authors/vendors need to pull out for health reasons, life events, and publication schedules, and though it isn't ideal, it is to be expected in events such as these. We will continuously update this website so our participating list is current. Please make sure to periodically check it so you stay the most up to date.

Will you have ADA accommodations?

We have a special shopping window before all signings start that is for ADA only. We also will have volunteers stationed around the event to assist if anything comes up. The Omni Shoreham is also ADA accessible!

I'm an author/Influencer/ vendor, how do I get in touch with you?

If you're an author, Influencer, or vendor interested in participating in BGC Chapter 4, please fill out an application in our "2025" tab. If you are looking for our sponsorship opportunities, we will have those posted late Oct/early Nov.
